Clearly a Samsung Product!

Love my Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite which replaced my Amazon Fire tablet. View is so precise and clear. I use tablets mostly for reading ebooks, plus sometimes checking e-mail and Facebook and that's pretty much it. I watch TV & movies on one of my 2 Samsung Smart TVs, viewing on a larger TV screen is easier on my eyes than viewing on a tablet, but when I watch, say, a YouTube video on this Samsung tablet it's as clear as can be. (Also have Samsung Galaxy S8 phone) I have NEVER been disappointed with a Samsung product and have always been more than satisfied with Samsung.

I have used other Samsung tablets and love them. This one is WIFI only. It was easy to set up and use. Love that it has more storage than my previous tablets. Light and small enough to get into an average-sized purse.

immediate Improvements Needed - A7 Lite

i have been a huge fan of samsung tablets for years. i wanted to replace my tab a 8.0 with something newer and decided on the a7 lite. on the surface it is okay but it really seems to be a step backwards. it lags constantly and the screen display is grainy at best with no option to change the washed out contrast. it apparently does not have an auto wake sleep function when a case like a fintie is closed. the keyboard is a nightmare to use. none of this was the case with my other samsung tablets. unless i am missing something, samsung needs to fix this tablet to make it a real competitor on the tablet market. i am thinking of shelving or selling this one and going with a tab a 8.4.

Slow, buggy on games, poor resolution

This is a budget tablet with sub-budget performance. Stutters on games, wifi won't stay connected, its slippery and hard to hold, is a fingerprint magnet, and the resolution is subpar. This is going back to Samsung immediately.

SD card warning

if you are buying this table for app use and games for your kids or yourself with the thought of getting the 64bg then an sd card forget about it. the sd card is useless for apps and games. cannot be used as external storage. so now i have a storage issue that i don't know how to fix besides deleting apps, so i suggest you look somewhere else for a better tablet. honestly so disappointed and wish i could get my money back but it's passed my return date. wasted my money on this. but other than that it's a good tablet for this price range.

i bought this device the week it was launched, at full retail price of $199. this tablet is quite a disappointment as the device is laggy even for very basic light tasks and with one 1 window open. the 2nd disappointment is the resolution is not full hd and is noticeably grainy. i also own a nearly 2 yrs old lenovo tab m8 fhd. while the m8 fhd isn't the fastest either, it does have a superior resolution at half the price of the a7lite. i am reselling this device on ebay because it's basically useless.

Low Resolution screen and laggy

having a galaxy tab s5e, what a disappointment in this new tab a7 lite. the screen resolution on a 8" screen shouldn't be an issue, however when you can see basically the pixels when you are reading, it is bad in 2021. the processor is also slow. i am using mostly this tablet to read and scrolling on any of the classic newspaper apps and experience some lag is also not cool. opening an app is twice as slow in compare to the tab s5e. the screen colors are also off and it is very weird coming from samsung who usually has the best screen. definitely a low end tablet to keep the price down.
