this overall is a great tablet, it is pretty fast, very reasonably priced, i like the face id, but it doesn't always work so i think they should have used that money for some of the other things that are not so good, some examples are, the camera is terrible, the battery estimation is way off, if i scroll up to where it says charging, i may be at 90% but it will say 2 hours until full charge, and as i said, this is way off, also, a lot of the apps like doordash, and samsung smart things are not available in the play store, i have found a fix for the most part, if you use the galaxy store it will work, but i have noticed that the galaxy store is almost all games, and samsung apps. yes i would recommend this to you if your incentive was not the camera, or face id.

i'm on my 4th samsung tablet. i buy samsung android tablets because there are no competitive products in the market.
issues:
- tablet doesn't utilize sd card for apps. yet samsung and costco included a 64gb sd card that's not usable without a 3rd party app.
- tablet is capable of high speed charging, but not only does samsung not include a high speed charger, there isn't one on their website listed under accessories. found one on amazon that did fast charge, two came for $9.99. really samsung?
- samsung takes too long to provide updates of new android versions. my google phone got an update to android 12 over a month ago, yet my brand new tablet just updated to android 11 after i bought it, and won't go to android 12 until next may, nearly 8 months later. inexcusable.

i had this tablet for a little over a month and it nice when i can use it. performance is good. i use it mainly to surf and plays some games. they are not huge resource drain games, mainly a few slot games online. i purchase at costco when it was on sale and thought it was a good value for the price. unfortunately the battery is not that great. i might be good to get 6 hours of time at best, but that seems weak. it takes a while to charge back up. i have a lenovo tablet that can run twice as long as this samsung and it is 2 years old or older. very disappointed as i have owned a couple of samsung tablets in the past.

I just bought this at Costco and I'm totally disappointed. The color is very dull and the screen is not a very good clarity. Pictures are not sharp. I have an older S2 and the screen is much better. I wanted something new but it looks like even the really old S2 is better. I didn't want to spend a lot of money but I guess I got what I paid for. If this was returnable I would and buy another S series.

Received as a gift from the wife. Absolutely love it. I use it mostly for browsing and watching tons of YouTube and Netflix. My job requires lots of travel and it's nice to be able to pull this out and catch up on some shows while on the go

I bought this tablet last year after COVID started and my kids had to do school from home. This has been a great tablet for my elementary kids. They were able to Zoom, do all if their assignments, play games, watch videos, and chat with friends. This would also be plenty good for most adults too. The screen is nice and big with an amazing picture. The battery life is great too. It's lite weight and easy to hold. I would recommend to anyone!

I purchased this product in July. Always wanted a tablet, and for the price I couldn't pass it up. I mostly use this product for entertainment purposes (movies, tv shows, social media, etc.) and I am quite pleased with it. The only downside is in the performance, in which it's a little slow in rotating from portrait to landscape mode and back again, and it sometimes doesn't quite register a tap on the screen right away, but it's barely noticeable. This is an overall great product.

Bought this to replace an Ipad 4 that was slowing down and losing battery life. It works perfectly, WIFI downloads are quicker, and opens programs in a flash. Long battery life between chargings!

I purchased this tablet for a steal, and I also ordered the keyboard case to go with it. This tablet is perfect for streaming and checking emails on a larger screen. I also use it on road trips. This tablet has a headphone jack and SD card slot, which is great since those are being phased out.

Bought this tablet to use for watching videos and playing games on Stadia. Screen looks good and the tablet works well. It is definitely underpowered and runs slowly compared to my Galaxy note. This is expected for the low price however.

I love the screen resolution, I love the size of the screen. Makes streaming movies that much more fun. It is so lightweight and the cover is awesome. Truly my favorite tablet I have ever used. Definitely wish I got 2, only had one in stock at the time.

I bought this just to have a device when my child is using my phone just so I could make sure I don't miss any text messages or calls. It can be a little slow sometimes, but for the money it's a good deal. Much better than a $100 tablet from Wal-Mart.

I've had this tablet for about 4 months now and it's a good budget tablet. It's pretty fast and responsive to touch. The only downfall is the screen quality. But hey you get what you pay for.

It got slow and started to freeze after the 14 day return period, so I couldn't return, it bought 2 they are both broken, 1 I have to reset every week, the other is completely stock on samsung logo

this is a wonderful device, it holds great value and it way faster than my old tablet as well as my hp laptop i was using. images are sharp and the screen is colorful and vivid. it's great for medium gaming and has a long battery life even with heavy use. i use this as my main device so it's used all day. i usually get 11-12 hours of screen on time and about day of mix usage. this is my first samsung galaxy device and i'm very pleased with everything. one ui is very smooth and i recently updated to one ui 3.1, which has subtle changes, it much more smooth. and finally this tablet has great speakers! with a quad speaker setup paired with dolby atmos it gets loud but without losing any quality. but i would recommend this to any one looking for a tablet with great value!

i purchased the a 7 to replace my 5 yr old samsung galaxy. my new samsung tablet has a larger screen, much better sound and video quality, the google assistant is helpful, easy to use settings, charges faster, the charge lasts longer (all day watching youtube videos). i'm very happy with my new samsung tablet.

arrived in a bigger box than size of product, bouncing around because there was no pkg, for instance bubble wrap! tablet has glitches like blinking in and out while filling out forms like this review, it's temperamental and you never know when it's going to do it. screen response is fair. device care is messed up, makes me do it twice to back out. adaptive lighting is slow to respond. did not come with the fast charging wall charger or cord, screen doesn't say fast charging but when i use one i bought it does. there's plenty more, but i'm not returning because i can't be without my tablet, it's my communication and tv. i'm sure samsung sent me a used tablet not new! actually my trade in samsung tab a was in better condition than this tab a7.

good tablet except for one huge glaring fault - you can't move apps to the sd card to free up storage. that's a fatal flaw. i'm very sorry i purchased this tablet. i guess i'll do my homework a little better next time. thanx

i have purchased this tablet from samsung as they have offered 6 months spotify premium and 2 months youtube premium.
i have followed all the steps to redeem as suggested by samsung support, but no luck.
finally they gave up stating that it is spotify issue.
i would have purchased it from walmart which was giving a better deal .
the tablet overall is good.
experience with samsung support has not been great. most of the times they were not sure sure what they were dealing with .

i just purchased two of these devices this christmas. after opening them and setting them up i discovered that you cannot move apps to an sd card with this device. only media files. this is absolutely unacceptable and i would like to return my tablet. why would this feature be removed. i realize it's a budget tablet but allow users to decide on their own if apps aren't running well on external storage. to remove this completely is a terrible idea.

tried a surface pro.... was ok. was supposed to work with my android phone. difficult and didn't do what it said it would. returned it.............. samsung a7 met all of my expectations and more. it is so user friendly! thank you samsung! the experience with this tablet makes me think that on my next phone purchase i will definitely considering a samsung galaxy!!
